v4.11.012 September 2026Current
New
  • AI assistants work directly in the workspace: every workspace answers the Model Context Protocol at its own address, something like https://dpp.example.com/mcp. You enter that address in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Gemini, sign in and grant access - there is nothing to install
  • A consent screen names every permission an application asks for, and lists separately what your own account cannot pass on. Granted connections stand on the API consumers page with the name and date of whoever approved them, and are switched off there
  • Command-line tool transpareo, open source under the MIT licence: sign in, ask what is required, check, create, publish and follow events - the same operations an assistant receives as tools
Improved
  • For any product and any granularity the platform answers which identifiers and properties a passport needs and which of them the product already carries - for people and for programs alike
v4.10.08 September 2026
New
  • Industries reference: fourteen industry pages with timeline, roles and their duties, required data, official documents, questions and answers and a diagram per industry - around 59,000 words in German, translated into 40 languages and linked from the ESPR guide, the FAQ and the blog
  • Eleven checklists to tick off in the browser and as a fillable PDF: five for batteries by battery type (law, following the regulation text), detergents and toys (passport content fixed in the act), construction products (preliminary until the delegated act arrives) and cosmetics, food and pharma (duties that apply today). Every list states its nature; industries without published passport content say so on their page
  • Sample import templates per industry as an Excel file, downloadable without an account, in the language of the page
  • Questions and answers under every guide article on the blog, for readers and for search
Improved
  • The industries index explains which kind of law reaches a product and how firm a date is, and invites you to the newsletter that reports changes to the rules
  • Timelines as one continuous rail with a marker per date, on phones too; diagrams stay legible on small screens and scroll sideways
  • The state of the EU DPP register described cautiously on every page and in the blog: operational since 20 July 2026, interface in progress, registration done by the economic operator
v4.9.031 July 2026
New
  • Selective disclosure: a passport can carry private entries that are cryptographically withheld from the public version. They are added after sign-in, and both versions stay independently verifiable (W3C ecdsa-sd-2023, two signatures per version)
  • "Sign in for additional product data" hands off to the sign-in of the issuing system - eIDAS, SSO or wallet. Transpareo never sees the credentials.
  • Help centre in the application manager: searchable guides for products, components, property types, passports and their events, plus access rights, signing keys, logs, data export and the API. In your language, with search suggestions, a table of contents per article and related articles. Only topics that match the features you have active are shown, and the getting-started guide is part of it.
  • Standard-conformant interface under /api/v1 with all nine methods of EN 18222; the existing /api/dpps is unchanged
  • Data model per EN 18223 and identifier validation per EN 18219 for GS1, LEI, Digital Link, DID and DOI identifiers
  • New property types for date, date with time and yes/no values
Improved
  • The Transpareo Time Machine verifies both signature schemes and states per version which keys of which authority were checked - for example "verified against 5 keys in your browser, 3 from the issuer and 2 from Transpareo"
  • Event data is emitted as a complete EPCIS 2.0 document, so it drops straight into common supply-chain tools
v4.8.028 June 2026
New
  • Vietnamese added for automatic translation - DPPs now render in 40 languages.
v4.7.023 June 2026
New
  • Independent verification is now fully interoperable: any conformant W3C Data Integrity verifier can check a Transpareo passport, not just our own tool - in line with the emerging UN Transparency Protocol (UNTP)
  • Five more languages for automatic translation - Albanian, Bosnian, Icelandic, Macedonian and Serbian. DPPs now render in 39 languages.
Improved
  • Mandatory fields in the sign-up and front-end forms are now clearly marked as required
Fixed
  • Resolved a rare blank screen on some iOS Safari versions
  • Your entered username is kept after a failed sign-in attempt
  • The Swiss thousands separator (50'000) renders correctly again in published text
v4.6.012 June 2026

  • File uploads now up to 50 MB per file
  • In the dashboard, your workspace address links directly to your published site
v4.5.02 June 2026
New
  • Vault archive: once your DPPs are registered with the EU register, every published DPP version is additionally archived immutably for ten years - neither the issuer nor Transpareo can change it afterwards
  • Authority API for market-surveillance and inspection bodies: a dedicated read key, limited to specified manufacturers, separate from your API keys, with an audit log for every access
  • Bulk creation of DPPs via the API (/api/dpps/bulk): up to 50,000 passports per request for series and batch production
  • Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): you run your own signing endpoint; Transpareo never holds your private key and only adds the independent counter-signature
Improved

Fixed
  • Fixed the duplicate title "API API Documentation" on the API documentation page
v4.4.015 May 2026
New
  • Transpareo Time Machine released as an open-source DPP renderer under GPL v3 - a web component that verifies every DPP version directly in the visitor's browser
  • Standalone verifier `<dpp-verifier>` as a sub-package - checks a DPP manifest without the full renderer UI
  • Deterministic DPP serialisation per RFC 8785 (JSON Canonicalization Scheme) as the basis for reproducible version hashes
  • W3C Data Integrity Proofs (eddsa-jcs-2022) per DPP version, signed by two independent authorities: issuer and Transpareo
  • Publication of the public DPP signing keys per issuer under /.well-known/dpp-keys/ (RFC 8615) and as DID:web
