What's new in Transpareo

New features, improvements and bug fixes on the Transpareo platform. For each major release we sum up what matters in a few lines.

  • Sign-in with the company account: a workspace connects through OIDC to Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace or another provider, and your staff sign in with their company account. Password sign-in can be closed for your company’s domains
  • Readers of a passport’s restricted details sign in there with the company account too

  • Files on products and components: certificates, declarations and other documents sit in a list of their own beside the gallery, with “Document type”, “Issued by” and “Valid until”. Transpareo reminds you 30 days before a document expires and automatically asks again a supplier who sent a certificate through a request sent by email
  • Passports carry a product’s public files as downloads, as they were when you published. When a file changes or becomes internal, the passport gets a new version
  • The service catalogue answers the questions purchasing and compliance ask in an RFP. The full edition opens after a confidentiality agreement

  • “All data” exports your whole workspace in one archive. The DPP web archive is a complete, verifiable copy of every published passport and runs on any plain web server, without Transpareo
  • Glossary in the workspace: you set what your terms are called in each language, and machine translation keeps to it, in existing texts too

  • Access groups set every right in one place: per area you decide what users and API consumers may view or edit, optionally only for selected records or those linked to a supplier, and until a date. Rights from several groups add up, and nobody grants more than they hold themselves
  • On the “Traffic” page you filter visits by any field with one row per filter, record and referrer among them, and save your filters under a name of your own

  • Requests for information: you ask suppliers for selected fields of a product or component through a link that opens on any phone without an account. Suppliers pass parts of it on to their own suppliers, and you review each answer field by field before it reaches the record
  • Versions: every change to a product becomes a version you can read back in its history. A batch opens as the version it was taken from, and variants take their parent product’s values until you change them
  • Almost every list in the application manager now works like the products overview: a wide table with the columns you choose, filters, saved views and actions on a selection
  • Tasks: you hand out work in your team with a priority, a due date and a link to a product, component or passport. Each task says what it waits for, and requests to suppliers and their reviews show up as tasks on their own

  • Records save from their actions bar, with Ctrl+S or Cmd+S too, and leaving a changed form asks first
  • The menu is reordered around catalogue, passports and supply chain, and text reads a little larger

  • Assistant in the application manager: a window accompanies you through the workspace, knows the page you are on, reads the files you drop into it, such as spreadsheets, images and PDFs, imports spreadsheets and puts every change to you for approval. The assistant runs on the account of your own AI provider and needs an API key from that provider’s developer console, since a chat plan includes no API access
  • New overview for products, components and passports: one wide table with the columns you choose, the rating among them, and a search that also finds terms of several words such as “organic cotton”. You put filters together in the filter builder and save them as views for the whole workspace, and actions such as publish or delete apply to a selection or to every match

  • AI assistants work directly in the workspace: every workspace answers the Model Context Protocol at its own address, something like https://dpp.example.com/mcp. You enter that address in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Gemini, sign in and grant access - there is nothing to install
  • A consent screen names every permission an application asks for, and lists separately what your own account cannot pass on. Granted connections stand on the API consumers page with the name and date of whoever approved them, and are switched off there
  • Command-line tool transpareo, open source under the MIT licence: sign in, ask what is required, check, create, publish and follow events - the same operations an assistant receives as tools

  • For any product and any granularity the platform answers which identifiers and properties a passport needs and which of them the product already carries - for people, and for programs through the API

  • Eleven checklists to tick off in the browser and as a fillable PDF: five for batteries by battery type (law, following the regulation text), detergents and toys (passport content fixed in the act), construction products (preliminary until the delegated act arrives) and cosmetics, food and pharma (duties that apply today). Every list states its nature; industries without published passport content say so on their page
  • Sample import templates per industry as an Excel file, downloadable without an account, in the language of the page
  • Questions and answers under every guide article on the blog, for readers and for search

  • The industries index explains which kind of law reaches a product and how firm a date is, and invites you to the newsletter that reports changes to the rules
  • Timelines as one continuous rail with a marker per date, on phones too; diagrams stay legible on small screens and scroll sideways
  • The state of the EU DPP register described cautiously on every page and in the blog: operational since 20 July 2026, interface in progress, registration done by the economic operator

  • Selective disclosure: a passport can carry private entries that are cryptographically withheld from the public version. They are added after sign-in, and both versions stay independently verifiable (W3C ecdsa-sd-2023, two signatures per version)
  • “Sign in for additional product data” hands off to the sign-in of the issuing system - eIDAS, SSO or wallet. Transpareo never sees the credentials.
  • Help centre in the application manager: searchable guides for products, components, property types, passports and their events, plus access rights, signing keys, logs, data export and the API. In your language, with search suggestions, a table of contents per article and related articles. Only topics that match the features you have active are shown, and the getting-started guide is part of it.
  • Standard-conformant interface under /api/v1 with all nine methods of EN 18222; the existing /api/dpps is unchanged
  • Data model per EN 18223 and identifier validation per EN 18219 for GS1, LEI, Digital Link, DID and DOI identifiers
  • New property types for date, date with time and yes/no values

  • The Transpareo Time Machine verifies both signature schemes and states per version which keys of which authority were checked - for example “verified against 5 keys in your browser, 3 from the issuer and 2 from Transpareo”
  • Event data is emitted as a complete EPCIS 2.0 document, so it drops straight into common supply-chain tools
